![]() The weird part was that it was updating every time there was a Steam update available!Īnyways, I am very thankful for everyone trying to help, i've tried out your suggestions and will tell you what happened. Turns out the Client slacked on Updates and somehow didn't acknowledge me trying to change the Settings, which made me unable to turn them off. But i didn't want to take no for an answer and uninstalled and reinstalled the Steam Client onto my Computer, then tried to turn off the Controller settings once again, which then ultimately worked on all games (AC, MSC and BNG!). Even My Summer Car would not recognize the Wheel after that. The first problem listed said to go to Steam's big Picture mode, and to turn off all Controller settings there. I can confirm that it was a problem listed in the 'common problems' section in the Steering wheel setup thread, but it had one big twist to it. I've experimented around with drivers and the info you guys suggested. here is my story, the steering wheel setup thread told me to go to the forums, in case i couldnt see the wheel ingame, but in the windows debug panel. Every time i run MSC as admin, it works without any issues. now, even when i run the game as admin, it will not see the wheel.Īs a side note, the wheel works perfectly with one game called My Summer Car. FFB and everything would work without any problem. and the couple times it worked, it would work perfectly and as intended. ![]() I ran the Game as Administrator, and then it would *sometimes* recognize the wheel as such. Under Hardware, BNG only displays Mouse and Keyboard, even though the wheel is calibrated and plugged in.ĭuring my first days of struggling with the wheel, i managed to get it working on BNG, for about two or three times. But still, whenever i open BNG or any other Racing Sim, it will not recognize the Wheel. Here, you can update and download the drivers that are necessary for your setup to function. it showed me that all buttons worked perfectly fine, and even the pedals and wheel were recognized as needed. You’ll need to go to Logitech’s website and download the Logitech G Hub gaming software. The driver runs perfectly fine, Windows recognizes it, and i can use the debug function of the joy.cpl. Ive looked at the Steering wheel setup thread here, and i ran through the checklist. But for some reason, BNG simply would not recognize the Wheel or the driver, or any inputs i made. I've installed the drivers and Logitech Gaming software, as it was recommended to me. But knowing Logitech shortly after, i came to note that it wouldnt really be that way. Then, unplugged the USB / Plugged it back in and it prompted plug n play again, this installed said it was getting the device ready.Ive recently bought a new Logitech G920 for Xbox One and PC, to finally immerse myself in the world of realistic driving. The following video guides you through troubleshooting your G923/G920/G29 in four steps, ranging from beginning to advanced. The wheel reacted several times doing this process, I didn't touch it. Then, I went to Start > Settings (icon) > Devices > Right clicked on Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel USB > Remove Device. This prompted me Yes or No to whether or not I wanted to Uninstall the driver software. The fix in my situation was uninstalling the driver software from Device Manager, making sure to choose the one NOT labeled (HID). I noticed that the force feedback didn't kick in until I ran into another car. Unplug the device and plug it back into a different USB port. ![]() I then started NFS Payback and the wheel finally worked. Check Delete the driver software for this device and then click Uninstall.
